When I was about 10, I was at a park and saw a guy riding a unicycle. I thought that was weird and I asked him how long it took him to ride and how old he was and everything (bout 9 or 10 he was). Since I was about 8 or 9 I had always wanted be a clown in the circus so when I met this guy I thought I mite get a unicycle. I asked mum for one for my 11th birthday and she didn't think I was serious at first but finally I got one from a bike shop on my 11th birthday and I was hooked.
Have you ever had any serious injuries?
No, not serious but I have had injuries, not that I can remember. I've had so many that I cant remember. The most serious injuries would be a bleeding leg. Personally, I think going for a ride on you bike is more dangerous then going for a ride on a unicycle because the unicycle is smaller and you have more control... even with out handle bars!
Where did you get your unicycle(s) from and what unicycles do you have?
Currently, I have a standard 20" that is a piece of garbage, a new KH Trials worth $800 and a 5 foot giraffe (chain-driven) unicycle. I got my standard 20" from my local bike shop for $160. I got my KH Trials from Unicycle.au.com for $650, on sale. I got my 5 foot giraffe from a local hardware shop for $420.
